G Loomis GLX Casting Rods are still one of the lightest, most sensitive high performance rods made by G Loomis. They’re noticeably lighter and more sensitive than G Loomis IMX Rods and all the other lower modulus materials used by G Loomis. It has been a cornerstone product for over 20 years. It’s high modulus and high tensile-strength allows 15% less material to be used than the comparable IMX rod creating a big reduction in weight while still maintaining the same power.
