As one of Megabass’ earliest offerings in the mid-80s, the revolutionary V-FLAT spinnerbait featured a clever and straightforward “V” shaped keel-weighted design. Evolving over the years, the V9 is the 9th version of this pioneering concept, designed for efficient blade rotation during low-speed retrieves and unparalleled performance. Chidori blades maintain high rpm even at lower speeds. A custom long-shank hook improves the hook-up ratio. Shaped wire effectively transmits blade vibration throughout the bait and skirt.

The V9 utilizes innovative custom blades with a teardrop shape, resulting in increased water resistance and higher RPMs even at slower retrieval speeds. The unique design of the blades also produces more flash and vibration, making the V9 highly attractive to target fish. Expertly crafted wire transmits this vibration to the hydrodynamically-designed head and responsive skirt, creating an enticing and irresistible movement that entices fish to strike. The V9’s keel-weighted design provides stability and quick recovery from deflections, allowing for optimal performance at various retrieval speeds. The hand-tied skirt fibers feature a wide-diameter neck for enhanced movement and a more natural appearance.

*Please note the V9 is designed specifically for higher blade-rotation at medium-fast to slow retrieve speeds. At very high retrieve speeds the V9 will rise in the water column. Please experiment to find your optimal retrieve range with each gear ratio.
