Our beginners rod building class is taught by top professional rod builders with extensive knowledge of all the techniques and components that build today’s top-performing fishing rods. Hosted remotely using Zoom Meetings, this class will teach you how to assemble your own spinning or casting rod from the handle to the tip.

The 3-day workshop takes place on consecutive evenings – Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday – from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm EST.

The 2-day workshop is held on consecutive weekend days – Saturday and Sunday – from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm EST.

You will build a 7’0″ medium-light power rod, in your choice of spinning or casting.

Class Cancellations & Refunds

• Cancellations made 30+ days prior to the class date will receive a full refund, provided all class materials and equipment are returned in like-new condition. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.
• Cancellations made 15 to 30 days prior to the class date may be rescheduled up to one time. If a refund is requested, all materials must be returned in like-new condition. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.
• Cancellations made less than 15 days prior to the class date will forfeit their class fee. Customers will keep all class materials and equipment.

Note: Refunds will not be issued until returned items have been received and inspected. Mud Hole does not cover return shipping costs under any circumstances.
